Privacy Notice

1. Information you provide

When you request service or continue to checkout, we collect the name, email address, phone number, service address, vehicle size, selected services, appointment and contact choices you provide. We record Terms of Service acceptance, optional marketing choices, their wording and version, and the time they were recorded. We may also keep correspondence and service-condition records.

2. How information is used

We use this information to calculate travel, check availability, arrange and deliver services, process and verify orders, respond to questions, handle refunds and concerns, and maintain service and consent records. Optional marketing choices are used to identify which promotional communications you have agreed to receive. Checking a marketing box does not itself send a campaign.

3. Service providers

Square receives booking, customer, service-address and order information to provide appointment and payment services. Payment details entered at Square checkout are handled by Square; our website does not collect your full card number. Appointment alerts and receipts are managed by Square separately from our optional promotional choices.

Google Routes receives service-address information to calculate driving distance. Render hosts the website and its private booking records. These providers process information to operate their services and have their own privacy practices. We may disclose relevant information when required by law or reasonably necessary to address fraud, safety or a legal claim.

4. Website analytics and cookies

The website uses Google Analytics to measure visits, page use, device/browser information and traffic sources. Google Analytics uses cookies and related technology and receives information about your interaction with the site. We do not intentionally send booking-form fields, names, service addresses, phone numbers or email addresses as analytics event properties. Google Signals and advertising personalization signals are disabled in our tag configuration.

You can manage cookies through your browser or use Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Blocking analytics does not prevent booking. This notice does not claim that the website has an analytics consent banner or automated privacy-request portal.

5. Promotional texts and emails

Promotional texts and emails are optional, with separate unchecked choices at checkout. You may choose either, both or neither. Consent is not a condition of purchasing a service. Your appointment contact preference does not constitute promotional consent.

If you opt in to promotional texts, your agreement covers recurring 845 Suds offers and discounts at the number provided, including messages sent using automated technology. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to a promotional text to opt out or HELP for assistance, or contact 845-274-7473 or info.845suds@gmail.com. Promotional emails include an unsubscribe option; you may also email us to withdraw permission. We do not sell your mobile number or share your SMS opt-in permission with other businesses for their own marketing.

Marketing delivery requires a configured messaging service and is separate from recording your choices at checkout. Revoking promotional permission does not cancel an appointment. Providers may have separate controls for their operational messages.

6. Records and your requests

Booking and consent records are kept in private server storage, separate from public website files. We retain information for service administration, payment and dispute records, consent documentation and applicable recordkeeping obligations. We do not promise a fixed automatic deletion period. We take reasonable steps to protect information, but no system can guarantee complete security.

We may need to verify your identity and may retain information needed for legal obligations, unresolved orders or disputes. Applicable privacy rights are not limited by this notice.

7. Photos and younger visitors

Service-condition photos may be used to document work and existing damage. Permission to publish photos for marketing is requested separately; buying a service is not permission to post your vehicle or identifying information. Booking is intended for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Changes and contact

We may update this notice when our practices change and will identify the updated effective date. Material changes to promotional consent will not be applied to earlier choices without any additional permission required.
