Effective October 21, 2026 · Version 2026-10-21.2
Terms of Service
These terms apply to bookings and mobile detailing services offered under the 845 Suds name at 845suds.com. ‘We’, ‘us’ and ‘our’ mean 845 Suds; ‘you’ means the customer purchasing or authorizing the service. Contact us at 845-274-7473 or info.845suds@gmail.com.
1. Your booking and authorization
You must be at least 18 and own the vehicle or property being serviced, or have the owner's permission to authorize the work. Provide accurate contact information, vehicle details, service address and access instructions.
Your order identifies the package, vehicle size, appointment, service location, add-ons and price. These terms and the service description presented when you book form the basis of your order. Any change to that order requires your agreement. Mandatory consumer rights remain in effect.
2. Services and what is included
We provide mobile vehicle detailing in North Jersey and the Hudson Valley, New York, subject to travel limits and safe working conditions. Services may include Exterior Refresh, Interior Refresh, 845 Full Detail and 845 Deep Detail. The package description and approved quote control what is included.
Interior Refresh is a maintenance cleaning; it does not include carpet or upholstery shampoo/extraction. Full Detail adds the listed exterior and interior services and spray paint protection. Deep Detail includes the additional extraction, focused stain treatment and suitable leather care described in your order.
Detailing is cleaning and appearance care, not mechanical repair, bodywork or restoration. Paint correction, scratch removal, ceramic coatings, mold remediation, biohazard cleanup and guaranteed odor removal are not included unless expressly offered and agreed in a separate written scope.
Motorcycle and ATV/quad cleaning are quoted individually. We will confirm the scope and price before beginning.
3. Prices, travel and additional work
Prices depend on package, vehicle size, selected add-ons and the agreed scope. The price shown before payment applies to the booked service; later website price changes do not change an existing order without your agreement.
Travel is calculated using one-way driving distance from our operating base in Oak Ridge, New Jersey:
- Up to and including 25 miles: included.
- More than 25 miles through 40 miles: $15 per visit.
- More than 40 miles: a separate quote is required before booking.
If vehicle size, condition or requested work differs from the booking, we will explain the difference and obtain approval for any revised scope, price or time before doing additional work. We do not automatically charge for pet hair, heavy soil or other extras without disclosure and agreement. If you decline a revision, we will agree on a reduced scope or cancel the unperformed portion and explain any refund due. No undisclosed penalty applies.
Any legally required tax or other mandatory charge must be disclosed before payment. These terms do not create an exemption from applicable tax requirements.
4. Square checkout and appointment holds
Payments are processed through Square. The online booking flow currently requests full payment for the displayed order. A selected time is a preview. After availability is checked, this website temporarily holds the requested time while you complete payment; that hold is not a confirmed Square appointment.
Complete payment within the 20-minute checkout window. An unpaid checkout expires without creating a Square appointment. This website creates your Square customer profile and appointment only after verifying completed payment. Appointment confirmation texts and emails are therefore triggered only after payment verification.
An appointment is confirmed only when payment is verified and Square accepts the appointment. The website hold does not block bookings made directly through Square or other channels. If the requested time is unavailable after payment, we will process a refund to the original payment method rather than confirm an unavailable appointment. Payment received does not by itself guarantee the appointment. If payment completes after the checkout window, we will check whether the requested time can still be confirmed; otherwise we will process a refund. If confirmation or refund processing needs review, contact us with your receipt and do not pay again. Refund timing depends on Square and your payment provider.
5. Cancellations, rescheduling and refunds
Please give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Use any available Square cancellation link, or contact us at 845-274-7473 or info.845suds@gmail.com. Appointment times and notice periods use the America/New_York time zone, including daylight saving time.
For cancellations made at least 24 hours before the appointment, we will refund prepaid, unperformed services or, with your agreement, apply the payment to a rescheduled visit.
We do not currently charge a late-cancellation or missed-appointment fee. Any future fee must be clearly disclosed and agreed before booking and will not apply retroactively. Please still give at least 24 hours’ notice whenever possible.
If we cancel and cannot provide a rescheduled time you accept, we will refund the unperformed services. Rescheduling credit is optional, not a substitute for a refund otherwise due. For partially completed work, we will explain the work performed and any proposed charge or refund; statutory remedies remain available.
Approved refunds are returned through the original payment method where available. Your payment provider controls when the credit appears. Contact us if a refund does not arrive within the timeframe given when it is processed.
These terms do not replace any cancellation notice, form or right required for a transaction arranged at your home or another location.
6. Preparing your vehicle and service location
Remove valuables, cash, personal documents, fragile items and loose belongings before service. Tell us about existing damage, loose trim, delicate materials, aftermarket equipment, wraps, coatings, leaks, electrical problems or other conditions that could affect cleaning.
For safety and to protect your belongings, any area containing personal items will be left untouched and will not be cleaned. We will not move, open, sort or dispose of those items. This includes occupied compartments, cupholders, seat pockets, seating areas, floor areas and trunk spaces. Please clear any area you want cleaned before your appointment. If you are available to remove the items during the visit, we may clean the cleared area if time permits; any additional time or charge requires your approval first.
Provide lawful access to the vehicle or bins and a safe, suitable work area with enough room around them. Obtain permission from the property owner or manager where needed. We will confirm any water, power or other site requirements before the visit rather than assume they are available.
Keep children and pets away from equipment and the work area. Child safety seats and their installation are outside the standard service unless separately agreed; do not assume they will be removed, reinstalled or safety-checked.
If access or conditions prevent service, we will contact you to discuss rescheduling, a safe alternative or cancellation. Any charge must follow the terms actually agreed for your booking.
7. Condition, results and damage concerns
Results depend on age, materials, existing wear, prior repairs and the type and duration of contamination. Some stains, scratches, discoloration, odors and wear may remain. Spray paint protection is not a promise of ceramic coating performance, scratch resistance or a specified lifespan.
We may inspect the vehicle and document relevant existing conditions before work. We will stop or adjust a process if we identify a material risk and discuss any change with you. Cleaning can reveal existing wear or damage that dirt previously concealed; this does not excuse damage we cause.
Please inspect the work with us where practical and report concerns promptly so we can investigate. Photos and a description help us review the issue. We will discuss an appropriate correction, refund or other resolution based on the circumstances. This request does not impose a claim deadline or waive responsibility for our negligence or other liability imposed by law.
8. Weather, winter and service timing
Arrival and completion times are estimates. Weather, traffic, vehicle condition and approved additional work can affect timing; we will communicate material changes.
We may pause or reschedule work when rain, lightning, wind, snow, ice, freezing temperatures, heat or unsafe runoff would affect safety or service quality. Weather-related rescheduling initiated by us carries no cancellation penalty. If a replacement date does not work for you, payment for unperformed services will be refunded.
We do not currently operate a heated indoor detailing facility. Winter Interior Refresh appointments begin December 21, 2026, subject to suitable conditions. That maintenance service does not include shampoo, wet extraction or dedicated salt-stain treatment. Extraction requires appropriate temperatures and drying conditions. Outdoor washing and bin, motorcycle or ATV cleaning may be unavailable during unsafe weather. Follow the drying and aftercare instructions provided for your service.
9. Trash-bin cleaning
The same-visit add-on is $20 for one standard residential bin or $30 for two and adds approximately 15 minutes. It covers the agreed cleaning of the interior, exterior, lids, rims and handles. Bins must be empty and accessible.
Extra bins, oversized containers, unusually heavy buildup and standalone visits require a quote. Garbage removal, hazardous waste handling and pest remediation are not included. Cleaning is not a guarantee of disinfection, sterilization or permanent odor or pest elimination.
10. Unsafe conditions
Tell us before the visit about needles, bodily fluids, hazardous chemicals, suspected mold or infestation. We may decline or stop work outside our equipment, training or safe service scope. We will explain what cannot be done and discuss the unperformed portion of the order. This does not authorize an undisclosed hazard fee.
11. Photos, contact preferences and personal information
We may document vehicle condition or work for service records, with appropriate notice. Public marketing use requires separate permission. Purchasing a service does not by itself authorize posting your vehicle, property or identifying information on social media. Marketing images should avoid visible plates, addresses, faces and personal belongings unless separately authorized.
We use booking contact information to arrange service and address payment or appointment issues. Square manages its automated messages and receipts separately; a preferred contact method may not change those settings. Marketing messages require any separate consent required by law and are not a condition of purchasing a service.
Our Privacy Notice explains how we use booking information, service providers and website analytics. Promotional texts and emails are optional and require separate choices at checkout. Text frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. You can withdraw permission by replying STOP to a promotional text, using an email unsubscribe link, or contacting us. For help, reply HELP or contact 845-274-7473 or info.845suds@gmail.com. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
12. Questions, consumer rights and changes
Contact us at 845-274-7473 or info.845suds@gmail.com about an order, cancellation, refund or concern. We encourage direct resolution, but contacting us first is not a condition of exercising statutory rights, making a payment dispute or contacting a regulator or court.
Nothing in these terms waives consumer protections, remedies or obligations that apply under New Jersey, New York or federal law. These terms do not require arbitration or waive class actions, and do not include a blanket release of liability.
Updates apply to future bookings after publication. They do not change an existing order without your agreement, except where a change is required by law. We will identify the effective version and retain the terms accepted for each booking.
